If you’re making a nautical themed cake for a beach wedding, using a rope for the borders and decorations can be a nice addition. I’ve made cakes with rope bows on them, and this is the way that I do it to prevent the bow loops from breaking.

  • It may be a bit more easy if you put the wire in while it's in the mold then take it out and Bend and twist. Then the loops could dry the wire them together…. maybe?!
